Biography

Jeff has over 35 years of work experience ranging from chemical plant process design, maintenance and production control, to UK sales manager for SKF the world's leading ball and bearing manufacturer, to business entrepreneur involved in the building and sale of small businesses to obtain small company financing and licenses for new and innovative products and processes.

Throughout his 35+ years industry experience Jeff has had numerous sales awards. He has mentored and enabled others to achieve their goals and above all demonstrated the ability to grow a successful business from start-up stage.

Jeff has developed numerous innovative designs ranging from the first practical vacuum extraction of syrup from Maple Trees to design for disinfection of opaque liquids such as machine tools coolants. In addition, Jeff has authored or co-authored a variety of papers and presentations a few of which are:

• A governmental invitation to recommend for legislation, equipment and treatment methods for disinfection of small system water supplies.
• Atlantic Canada presentation on the carcinogenic dangers resulting from the production of 'Trihalomethane' (THM) a by product of chlorinating organic water.
• Co-developer and author of publication on Polyaluminum hydroxyl sulphate (PAHS) a poly nucleated alum product for the disinfection of drinking water.
• Discussion paper on 'Electric Discharge Machining' (EDM) a recent rotating equipment speed phenomena.
• Author of 'shooting the Elephant' a presentation to sales and marketing staff outlining a methodical approach to securing large dollar purchase orders for capital equipment.
